Thank you for sharing a complimentary copy of your book “Who Needs A Comforter?” with us. I didn’t know you were also a prolific writer beside a great prayer warrior!
As I was reading and meditating through the book warm thoughts came to mind of the many times we worked together to reach out to those who don’t know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
Every once in a while a book comes along that immediately meets a real need. Yours is one of those books. The significance of being a “Comforter” is one of the most important insights in biblical counseling. Your masterly book is a fine introduction to meet the specific needs of those who are worldly “prisoners” living day in and day out without the help of the “Holy Spirit” as their primary counselor.
In our ethically, morally and spiritually confused world many are asking, often mutely, “Is there more to life than what I am experiencing?” Life is full of questions. Some are trivial, some more serious and others tremendously important.
No truth, however, is more important than an understanding of the ministry of the “Holy Spirit” and how to be filled and controlled by Him. You did an excellent job of blending personal anecdotes with scriptural insights to live a life of faith and obedience in response to His saving grace.
Through the scriptures the “Holy Spirit” comforts, rebukes, corrects and trains us in righteousness. In this way people of all ages and from various walks of life are being helped, problems being resolved and God being glorified.
Thank you again for taking your time to write this very important book and sharing a copy with us. It is my prayer that this book will be a mighty influence to bring many people to experience His power and love as they seek joy, peace, comfort and eternal well-being.
Your brother in Christ,
