January 2005 Update

We can’t think of a better way to thank you for your gifts and prayers than by sharing how God is using friends like you to bless countless lives through International Ambassadors for Christ.

Did you ever feel that God was moving so fast, you were hanging on by the tips of your fingers…? That’s where we are! It’s a rare opportunity to be able to influence current and future leaders here in Chicago and China as we focus on the spiritual and professional training and development of leaders and influencers.

Gao Ying, Vice President of the Beijing Christian Council, observes a “religious awakening” in China among young, educated entrepreneurs who are “searching for meaning and longing for love”. The government allows religious activities to be conducted as legitimate training by businesses as long as it is done within the walls of the workplace and a permit is obtained. We have seen numerous new “churches” spring up on the premises of factories and private businesses.

We marvel at God’s grace in opening the hearts of numerous key influencers seeking Christ. You can see why we are so excited about what is happening. God is at work and has given us the privilege of “gathering grain” in a place where the fields are plentiful. As we face new challenges in the coming year we know that God has a special plan to provide for these needs. We will keep working under His direction and provision.

We are very grateful for your prayers and financial gifts. Your support of this ministry has been an investment in each and every soul who has been reconciled to God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Your gifts this coming year will help us continue to reach men and women across the globe with the Good News of God’s saving grace.

Thank you again for your faithful prayers so that others might know our Savior Jesus Christ. God bless you and yours richly during this coming year as you worship and serve Him.
