PGA Tour Players Breakfast

The keynote speaker was Larry Mize, a prominent Christian golfer and winner of the 1987 Masters Tournament.

Dear Breakfast Attendees,

I was so glad that you were able to join us for the PGA Tour Players Breakfast on July 2nd at the Holiday Inn Select in Naperville. It was obvious from the many written and spoken comments that this breakfast meeting was a significant event in the lives of many who attended.

You indicated on the Comment Card that you were interested in learning more about local weekly Bible discussion groups. I think it’s great that you are willing to take steps toward getting to know God better. Discussing spiritual issues with others is a chance to learn who Jesus was and how He can impact your life now and for all eternity. It’s also interesting to be able to ask questions and interact with others since we all have our own unique spiritual experiences.

You might also want to let the person who invited you to the breakfast know of your desire to join a Bible discussion group. They may be aware of groups that meet near your home or workplace. I encourage you to check them out a few times and I sure hope you find one that you enjoy.

The enclosed book “More Than a Carpenter” was very helpful to me in my own spiritual journey. It helped me to understand the need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and how to develop that relationship. I want to pass it on to you as a gift. I have asked the local Table host’s to make sure you received this free book. They will also contact you and be available to help you get answers to any questions you might have.

Thanks again so much for coming and I wish you all the best. I know that having a relationship with Jesus Christ has been the best thing that has ever happened in my life and I hope and pray it is for you, too.

See you on the golf course!

Most Sincerely,
Larry Hogan Mize
PGA Tour Player
